It's official!!!

We happily accepted our referral of Ava Bella today! We are soo excited. We received more info on the birth mother and more medical info on Ava and felt alot more comfortable with our decision. Our adoption pediatrician was happy as well. As long as she keeps putting on weight things look really good. Now the real waiting begins. Waiting for updates, waiting for pictures, waiting to meet her and ultimately waiting to bring her home!! We know she will be more than worth the wait. We will be adding her pictures soon, so stay tuned!

Trip to the Zoo

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
