More good news!

We officially recieved DNA authorization today! That means our lawyer received permission to have Ava and her birthmom's DNA taken to make sure they are a match. According to our agency we can expect results within a month. I know that seems like a long time and we agree, but we just have to take each positive step as it comes. Once their DNA is matched we can start planning our visit trip to see her for the first time!! You know Jim is going crazy waiting to plan the trip. This week has already been an amazing one and it's only Tuesday!!!

Trip to the Zoo

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
