It's hot out...

We are in St Thomas right now on the way back to the ship...after a day of snorkeling. On the way back we found a cool Internet cafe/bar. No news on Ava, unfortunately. We are waiting for our pediatrician up at the UW (who specializes in adopted babies) to review the latest report we got and see where she is on the baby percentile scale,...she looks pretty healthy to us, just tiny though. This vacation has been a pleasant distraction. We'll update with any new info.

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
