Amazing Ava

Ava is adjusting so well! She seems to be back on schedule (from what the foster mom told us). She went to sleep last night around 10pm. She slept through the night and woke up a little before 6am for her bottle then promptly fell back to sleep till 10am. She is breathing much better also. We took her down for breakfast this morning. She seems to really like her sling. She likes being all cozy. She is so fun to hang out with! She is one funny girl. Nap times are torture for us and we just bide our time till we can play with her again. She will be watching her first Seahawks game today. I hope they do us proud, we don't want to traumatize the poor girl. Here are some pictures from last night:

Wow you should send the seahawks a picture of the smallest Guatemalen fan. That picture of her in the outfit is awsome.

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
