Difficult Day...

The time came this morning to bring Ava back to the foster mom. Harder than we thought (but we were so happy to have had these few days with her!) ....we tried to stay positive as the time approached, because a lot of families are getting through the PGN process fast...so it's possible we could even be coming back in 2 months. Don't want to get our hopes up too much though...
Our plane leaves in 3 hours, and we have a long layover in Atlanta. So back to reality at mid-night when we land in Sea-Tac.

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
