Finally...
We just got her here right at 11:30. We sat with her and the foster mom and found out all about her, sleeping habits, when she eats, what time she wakes up etc...We've been with her in the room for about 45 min now and she's shown us the range of her personality. We got some smiles, some crys and some spit-up. She just had a bottle and is starting to dose off.

She is such a good eater!! She is doing great on the soy formula. She now weighs 10lbs12ozs! We are beyond ecstatic that she is doing so well and is finally here in our arms. Speaking of arms, Jim just got his first introduction to reflux all over his arm :.) Too sweet! She is almost asleep now, so we will be staring at her for the next couple of hours. Rumor has it from the foster mom that Ava takes her last bottle at 10pm and sleeps through the night till 6am. Hopefully we will be that fortunate tonight! We will see soon enough!! Bye for now. She is a princess!! She is so adorable! And so are the both of you too! Jim those pictures of you and Kate holding her are so, so wonderfully sweet. The look on your faces is beautiful. And so full of love.
I called aunt Kim and she wants you to know they have all been watching on the blog...thanks to your grandpa! He came hustling into the room to tell them that there were pictures of Ava and the both of you on the blog, and to come see!
I called Brian, and Beth had just called him and he was heading to the blog...and called Melissa of course. We were giddy together. ;-)
We are all going crazy here, we are so happy for the both of you!! We're all sitting staring at the blog waiting for more pictures. LOL
