llamada a Guatemala

I just called Ava's foster mom and this time I had some Spanish help from a friendly neighborhood Puerto Rican, Valdes, a guy I work with...We had her on speaker phone and asked her some questions about Ava. She was actually on her way back from the Doctor right then. She told us that Ava is doing good overall. She now weighs 11lbs 8oz., so she has put on about a pound and a half since we were there a month ago. She says Ava continues to be very happy and active and 'outgoing' (not sure what that means). She is also able to roll over on her own now. The only thing wrong was that she has a cold...runny nose, congestion, and the doctor noticed that she has a little skin rash due to clothing or soap or something her skin is allergic to.
I heard Ava a little bit in the background making some noise, I think she said 'hola' but I wasn't sure cause there was also a lot of traffic noise, but I'm pretty sure I heard 'hola'.
They took pictures, and hopefully the lawyer's assistant will send them soon.
