Llegada a Guatemala...



So, it looks like the DNA results got there at 3:05 local time....will it make it to the embassy by the time they close at 3:30? Probably not. So monday, maybe...we'll get our appointment date.

The agency never called last night regarding confirmation of the results...so I contacted the lab today and confirmed it was a match. This 2nd DNA is more of a technicality that is now required, we knew all along though that Ava is Ava. :-)

Maybe if the fedex man knew you were stalking him he would deliver sooner.... just out of fear.

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
