The monthly medical report, just in...

The Doctor says she is doing very good. She now weighs 13lbs 3oz, and is 24.4 inches long. We're still hanging in there waiting for news regarding the birth certificate (she'll have our last name on the new one)...she was born in a town called Mixco, outside of Guatemala City. The Mixco civil registry has had a bad reputation in the past for making things difficult. So we continue to wait.

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
