We got it!!!

Finally, we get to bring our daughter home! We got our "E-Pink"!! We will leave on Wednesday the 19th and be down there for 6 days. We have an immigration interview at the embassy on the 24th. They are going to ask Ava some questions, (make sure she will uphold the U.S. Constitution, and pay her taxes etc)...then the next day I'll go back and pick up the sealed packet that we bring back to the U.S. We are so excited, dizzy, and elated!! More importantly cousin Audrey is so happy her "baby cousin't is done growing in Guateeeemala"!!!
March 24th, 2008 wil be our official "Forever Family Day", and it will be a day we will forever cherish.

It's finally happening.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! our dna results were delivered to the Embassy on Tuesday, 3/4 . . . we are STILLLLL waiting for PINK . . . I'm so HAPPY for ya'll!

Don't worry, I will teach here everything she needs to know about the US before her interview. She is our smart little mayan princess. So the constitution and a little US history will be nothing for her to pick up in one day. Do you want her to learn it in Spanish or English?

2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
