2 Weeks

It has officially been two weeks since our beautiful daughter has been home. I know it might seem silly, but there is still a part of me that thinks someone will be coming to get her and this last couple of weeks were just Jim and I playing house. Weird I know. It's just that, after 4 1/2 long years of letdowns and disappointments, it is difficult to comprehend that our dream has finally come true. Ava is such a joy and a blessing! I just keep pinching myself to make sure she is really here and not just one of my many dreams that she is. We are so happy and content right now. We have the privilege to watch her grow, smile and learn. It is fascinating and wonderful. I know I am gushing but I can't help it. After all we have been through, it's our turn and we are soo grateful...

Hey Mommy!! It is true...she is finally here and all yours!!! I am so happy for you and Jim. There aren't two more loving people that deserve such a blessing as Miss Ava Bella! I so look forward to all the pictures I get to see and all the stories to go along with them! Thanks for allowing me to be one of the "stalkers"! Can't wait to meet the newest addition to the Montante clan!!

Well we knew that it would be like this for a while, but some day very soon it will hit u that she isn't going any where. And that day will be a glorious! We are sooo HAPPY for you and Jim. As lucky as u are to get your beautiful daughter, Ava is just as lucky to get to amazing parents!

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
