Medical Update...

Ava...being the hot blooded Latina that she is, had a few choice words for her doctor today. Fortunately, he does not understand Spanish. She was pretty upset. First, the doc had to dig out some ear wax so he could see better. She voiced her displeasure. Then he gave us the diagnosis: Ear Infection. Big bummer. Poor little girl has had a rough week. Tonight though, she is in the best mood...grinning, laughing, and enjoying smacking us while we hold her. Currently, she is dining on cooked carrots, Gerber finger foods, and soon, will enjoy an after dinner aperitif of soy formula. Oh and by the way, no, the pediatrician would not prescribe the paranoid parents any meds (haha TGBS!)

Oh man now I feel bad for teasing u guys when ur princessa was really sick! Hope she gets better really fast it's no fun being sick!

I hope Ava is feeling better soon. Johanna has a cold now too. We can't get into the dr. until April 17. Hope it doesn't get any worse.

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
