How am I supposed to...

leave this beautiful face for 8hrs??? That's right. Tomorrow I have to return to work. I have been in denial the last ten weeks, but the time has come. We are very fortunate to have family and friends so close by that are willing and available to take care of Ava for the three days I work. She will be very well taken care of, we have no doubt. I am also very fortunate to be returning to a job I really enjoy (you know I love you TGBS!). It's just that, after waiting so long to have her home, it is really difficult to be leaving already! I know she will do just fine, let's just hope the same can be said for her mommy.

Ava - We'll take good care of your mommy while she's at work and return her to you everyday to squeeze those pretty little cheeks. We can't believe 10 weeks are up already too! Unlike mommy, we're happy to have her back at work:)

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
