Ava's first incident report....

So Ava decided to try out some new acrobatic moves at Auntie Tammie's today. As a result, she earned herself a nice little shiner below her right eye. I think Auntie might have been more traumatized than Ava. Ava has decided to forgo hammocks for the time being, her moves need a little more work...

This is probably only the first of many. I'm sure you took it MUCH better than your Auntie. Us adults don't handle those incidents so well.

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
