Camping at the Beach.....

We took Ava to the beach this weekend! This was her first camping experience and it could not have gone better. We took a gamble going so late in the season, but it totally paid off. The weather was gorgeous (70's during the day, but still chilly during the night)!!! We went with Tammie, Chris, Gabbie, and Milla. Ava loved having some of her favorite peeps to hang out with. She is starting to say names now, so "Dis, Ghu-beee, and me-yu" were all in attendance. Tammie got a little shafted, but she knows Ava adores her! Ava discovered a new best friend...her shadow. It is so cute! She loves to wave at it. She also has decided sand is now a food group and we had the diapers to prove it. All in all it was a great weekend with great friends and unbelievable weather!

Of course you know we're jealous that we could not be a part of this fun weekend with Ava but looking at the pictures is second best

Yes I'm the bad Tia that went to a soccer game and bike rally....serves me right that we missed out on all the fun. Glad you all had a great time!!

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
