Did the Puyallup...

Ava had her first fair experience today and she had a blast! The merry -go- round was a huge hit. She knew just what to do and was less than thrilled when the ride was over. She and daddy had their portrait done. So funny! She also had her first elephant ear (yes, it was whole wheat) and was in heaven and maybe a bit of sugar coma. Audrey was such a big girl and went on the roller coaster all by herself! She had so much fun. It was really cute! All in all it was a wonderful day and a really special memory.


I love the merry-go-round! But, I don't like stormtroopers!

Bet great grandpa Joe is smiling up in heaven. Puyallup Fair was one of his favorite things to do.

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
