More trauma for the little lady...

So, Ava endured yet another assault from the Dr.'s office today. She had to have blood drawn for some labs the pediatrician ordered on her last visit. We tried to space out the trauma of shots and lab work, for all of our sakes. She was a trooper today, but her cries broke our hearts. Hopefully that is the last of the lab work for now. She is now chillin' out eating dinner and enjoying one of her new favorite foods...cheese! We are slowly integrating dairy into her diet to see how her tummy tolerates it. We know she loves it, we just want to make sure her body can handle it ok. So far so good!! Here are some pics post trauma today...

Yes, this is my owie. Completely uncalled for I think! What are these grown ups thinking?!


Maybe if I give it besos it will feel better...

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
