Home Sweet Home?

We made it home early this morning after an exhausting red-eye flight. Ava did much better than the previous flight, much to the relief of her fellow passengers. She did make her presence known a couple of times with the impressive scream we have all come to love and fear. We did come home to a beautiful, sunny fall day which was nice. Ava is on her second nap for the day and we could both use one for ourselves. Kauai was absolutely wonderful as I am sure you could see by the pictures (500+ last count). I can't express how fun it was to have Ava with us for our first big family trip. We were so happy to share the experience with our friends! Here are some pics from our last night in Kauai and our flight home.

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
