North Shore

Today we took a little trip to the beautiful north shore of Kaua'i. We left at about 11:30 this morning and didn't get back until 8. Ava saw her 1st cave, we did some sight-seeing and a lot of picture taking, and finally finished the day off laying on the beach. An insane amount of pictures were taken, thanks to the awesome island of Kaua'i and Ava...

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
