Saturday...

Today we discovered a cool little restaurant for breakfast: Babblin Bab's Bistro, over in the Proctor district...(if you're fortunate enough to live in Tacoma, and not some lame place like Paris, Australia, or Hawaii, you might know where this is :-) Anyway, they had a unique and somewhat gourmet breakfast (click for menu), a bit different from Jim's preferred 'Denny's grand slam.'
They even offered organic yogurt and fruit for Ava - (sorry Tia Melissa bacon unfortunately was not on the menu)
Afterwards, Ava did some race car driving at Fred Meyer's.

Trip to the Zoo

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
