One year ago...
It has been exactly a year since we flew down to Guatemala to meet Ava for the first time. She was about 4 1/2 months old at the time. The time has flown by...we can't imagine life without her.

Meanwhile, back in the present. I am a temporary single parent. Katie is down in Los Angeles for some work training. Ava and I are flying down Wednesday (the plane trip should be memorable) and then we're going to go to Disneyland for a couple of days after her classes.
We've also had a nice time this weekend visiting with Auntie Joanne (my Grandmas twin sister) Auntie Helen and Cousin Patty from Detroit, who were here for the funeral of Grandma Maria.

I made a new album on the picture site - 'Everyday life Vol. I' This will be the one we use to upload random everyday stuff.
