Eventful day...

The sun came out today so Daddy and Ava took full advantage of it (I got called in and worked for most of the day)! First stop was the zoo. The Beluga Whales were the highlight this time around. After that, Jim stopped by his work for a bit and put little missy to work. They worked up an appetite for Mexican food for lunch. What a day! It looks like they both had a blast. I came home from work to Jim and Ava both exhausted and in dire need of a nap (both of them). Here are some of the highlights...

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
