New Living Arrangements...

Jim had a busy weekend removing the remains of the soggy carpet and ruined furniture. After multiple trips to the dump, he finally finished the clean up. Next up is " Forced Extreme Home Remodel". Ty Pennington is not returning any of our calls, so it looks like the "project" might be a lengthy one. For the mean time we are settling into our new living area. Not so bad.



This is our new temporary dining room.


Ava doesn't seem to mind that the downstairs family room is no more.
We have moved all 'hanging-out' to the upstairs and she is enjoying the change.

Trip to the Zoo

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
