Febuary Snow and Ava update...

We had yet another touch of winter today. Ava was slightly less offended than usual, but still not a huge fan. She also had her 18month "well baby" check up. She only got one shot today much to every one's relief! She is doing great and right on target for her age. She is still a bit tiny according to her doctor, but still very healthy and happy! We were able to spend the evening with some friends up north. Ava took to them immediately, and was smiles the rest of the night. It was a busy day and little missy konked out the minute we got home. Ava has decided she has a new best friend. It is one specific blanket. She calls it her "babba G", and she makes sure it is always near. Soo cute!! Blogger is being moody at the moment and not letting me upload as many pics as I want, so "babba G's" intro will have to wait.

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
