Weekend Fun....

We had a great weekend hanging out with friends and taking Ava to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. It is alot bigger than the zoo she normally goes to and has a few extra exhibits. She went crazy for the "beebra", and the gorillas. It was a beautiful sunny day! Perfect for a zoo adventure. Poor sweetie passed out the minute she got in her car seat, she was exhausted!

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
