The Doctor, The Beach, A Train and some Sushi

We had another beautiful busy day today. We went to Ava's pediatrician because she has been running a low grade fever off and on for the last couple weeks and has been complaining that her ear is "wowie". The good news is she doesn't have an ear infection, but he can't find a reason for the fevers. Looks like motrin will continue to be our friend at night when her fever seems to be at it's worst. Since it was so nice out we went down to beach and watched the trains pass by. Ava did not seem to know what to make of the trains, but she for sure did not appreciate the loud noise it made. After that we went for sushi, no, Ava did not have any but she did love the chicken teriyaki. She also liked to play "rolly polly" with the chopsticks. So funny! Here are some highlights of the day...

Trip to the Zoo

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
