Busy day...

Ava spent the morning having fun with grandma Nana while we were at work. It sounds like they had a blast! When Jim got home from work, he took Ava down to the beach to enjoy some of our glorious sunshine and then to Babies 'r Us for a stroller that could withstand both the cobblestone roads in Italy and also collapse down to the smallest size possible. Surprise, surprise, he managed to find a Jeep stroller :-) Go figure! It is pretty nice though and I definitely think it will do the trick.

I have been wanting to paint Ava's toes for months. In fact it is one of those things I had always dreamt about when I was waiting to become a mother. Silly I know, but it is kind of one of those "rite of passage" sort of things. Does that make sense? It is probably something some people take for granted, but not me. Anyway, today was the day! I picked a pretty shimmery pink for Ava's first pedicure. What do you think? I love these sweet little feet!!! Italy here we come (in 6 days actually, but who's counting)!!
