Our final "home away from home"...

Today, we left our villa in southern Tuscany and drove 2hrs north to our villa in San Gimignano. In a word, Gorgeous!!! The rolling hills are covered with vineyards and the medieval village of San Gimignano in the distance is stunning. We are going into the village tonight to explore and eat some dinner. Tomorrow we are off to Siena. It is about 30 minutes away. We are all doing great and loving "living the life" of a Sicilian/Tuscan. Ava is often the center of attention wherever we go. Shocking I know :-) The "world" of Ava is a rough one I think. We have Internet at this villa (yay!!) so we will try to do better on updates. For now here are some pics from the last couple of days...

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
