5 min for a quick update. We spent yesterday exploring Rome. Ava did pretty good considering the flight times, and a 9 hr time change. 75% good mood! :-) It is now almost 6 am and we're getting ready to fly down to Sicily to stay in our first villa and see our relatives. Cousin Mike barely made it in from Detroit. We're glad he's here! Having fun! Enjoyed a couple bottles of Chianti last night!

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
