The pool is open for business...

...we finally got the pool open and ready just in time for a beautiful summer day. We had a pool leak scare earlier in the week, but Jim was able to repair it pretty easily. Ava is a bit timid when it comes to the pool still, but I have a feeling she will be our little nemo in no time! Audrey and Spencer have been asking for weeks when the pool would be ready and they were beside themselves when they finally got to dive in. We had a great first pool day of the summer!!

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
