Saturday morning with Daddy...

Daddy and Ava woke up early( I am still sick with a nasty flu bug) this morning and went out for breakfast and a quick ride on the Sounder. Ava loves trains! Yes, there was an impromptu photo session as well :-) Can you blame him? It was a gorgeous

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
