Lov'in some summer time...

We had a great day today. We took the local train for some lunch downtown and then spent the afternoon by the pool. It was a glorious sunny day!!



Oh, and Ava took her first dunk today! Daddy took her underwater for the first time. She kinda liked it, but was not too excited to do an encore.

Trip to the Zoo

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
