Sunriver, Oregon

We made it to Sunriver yesterday after an overnight stay in Portland...all the family including 5 energetic kids are here. The weather is great, and will be getting hotter throughout the week. There's a new folder on our picture site if you want to see more pics.

...and we wish Aunt Josie and the Detroit gang could have been here again this year. We'll have a Manhattan for ya!

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
