Fall photo session...

We had an impromptu photo session today to celebrate all of the beautiful fall colors. Ava was a good sport in spite of tripping and falling, hand first, into a bunch of gravel within the first 5 minutes :-( Poor sweetie might have lost a little skin in the process, but smiled and posed like no body's business. She had fun picking out a "pumpkin pie" ,apparently she has high hopes for her mom who has little to no skill in the baking department. Oh well, thanks to QFC we will get the pie little missy was hoping for. Here are some pretty cute pics...

Trip to the Zoo

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
