New "pretties"...

So last night we had fun with a quick "model pose" session with Ava, but not before she chose the perfect accessory for the pics :-) What do you think?? I decided a little something was missing, so today, I attempted to paint "pretties" on Ava's toes. If anyone has an effective technique to keep a 2yr old still while the polish dries, I am all ears ( Auntie Beth, I am counting on you for this one) . Once that was done, we had fun with another photo session. Oh ya, Ava decided to accessorise again. This time she changed it up a bit :-) This girl is such a crack up!!! I am not sure where she gets her moves, but she sure knows how to work them!! I love this little sweetie sooo much...

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
