Seahawks 32 Lions 20

This weekend Gpa and Gma treated Ava (and her parents) to some awesome seats at the Seahawks game. We had a really good time, despite being very worried after the Lions took a 17-0 lead in the first quarter. Ava loves the excitement of sports, and "lotta people, lotta people" she also loves that Qwest field is just like Safeco Field (Mariners) and she can "take a walk" to go check out the trains behind the stadium.

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
