Baby's got a new set of wheels....

Ava got her first tricycle today! As soon as I saw this, I knew it was an "Ava must have" :-) Now all we need is some decent weather so that we can see Ava take off! She was absolutely beside herself all night with excitement. She did get a little frustrated trying to navigate down the narrow hallways though. Like I said, all we need is a dry day, and it is on!!!

Trip to the Zoo

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
