Long overdue post...

Not quite sure why it has been so long since we have posted. Life I guess. Not really a good excuse, but a reason all the same. We have had a fun few days. Ava's grandma and papa are down in Guatemala, visiting New Dawn Children's Home. Before they left, we spent the evening helping them pack a ton of clothes, toys and books that they had collected to donate to the orphanage. Ava even got into the spirit of giving and donated some of her baby toys. :-) We can't wait to see pics of all the sweet babies and also of Gloria (Ava's foster mom). I know they will have tons of stories.


Ava received her first piece of mail yesterday. Grandma sent her a letter with stickers and a picture. Ava was thrilled!!

Today we went to Disney Live! It was soo fun! Tia Mo, Audrey and Spencer came too. The girls had a blast dancing to the music and waving to Mickey and the gang. It was so fun watching them! Jim and Spencer were really good sports and hardly made any faces during Cinderella's "bippity boppity boo" song. The girls went nuts for Cinderella, but I think Mickey and Minnie were the highlights for Ava. They were all deliriously exhausted on the way home. Ava konked out within minutes of coming home. She slept so long, we had to wake her for dinner. She is still giddy from all of the fun. Soo cute! Another great memory :-) Now what you what you really have been waiting for...pics!!
