Almost back home...

We are spending our last day in LA today, the ship docked bright and early in Long Beach and we were off the boat by 9:30 am. We made it to our last hotel right next to LAX airport...Ava is zonked out taking a nap right now, but when she wakes up, one more adventure to Manhattan Beach.

We had a great time on the cruise, nice weather the whole time and overwhelming food and activity options. We spent two days doing shore excursions to Catalina Island, and then the next day in Ensenada Mexico. The final day was at sea. Click on our pic. site to see more pics, if you want.

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
