Pre-Vacation Pedis....

Ava and I enjoyed pre-Disneyland pedicures today. It was Ava's first official pedicure and she loved it! I let her pick the color and she picked the prettiest pale pink. So pale it is almost just shimmer, but pretty all the same :-) I can see this being a special tradition for her and I for years to come. Yet another one of those "mommy rites of passages", that I soo looked forward to. Soo fun! Our toes are all done up and in just 36 short hours, we will be leaving for Disneyland!!! Yay!!

I think the 3 of you (yes, I'm throwing Jim's toes in too) have the cutest toes ever! So cute and little and perfect. I am used to seeing 50 monkey toes running around my house, not cute little tator tots like your families!
Ava, love that pink, auntie's a huge pale pink fan! Minnie will love them!

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
