Spring is here!!!

....and we took full advantage of it this weekend. We drove up to Skagit Valley, to go to the tulip festival on Saturday. The flowers were in full bloom and absolutely stunning. You throw in little miss Ava, and gorgeous photos were abundant. We were literally dancing in the tulips! It was soo much fun and beautiful memories were made. Today, we went to Ava's first Mariners game of the season. She has been waiting for "baseball game day" for a verrry long time. When she found out today was "the day", she was totally pumped!!! The Mariners lost, but that was of no consequence to Ava. She cheered, sang, clapped and hollered like crazy. This girl absolutely loves her some baseball!! It was a great weekend full of adventures and beauty. We are all a little pooped, but boy was it great :-)

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
