Weekend Sleepover....

We had a fun filled weekend at White Horse Manor(Auntie Kim and Uncle Steve's house). There were water fights, where everyone except for our resident Diva, Ava, and her father got completely drenched. Ava made it pointedly clear that getting soaked in barely 70 degree weather made no sense and she wanted no part of it. Jim shamelessly used said diva as a human shield to avoid the water balloons and water guns ;-) There was a scavenger hunt that was dominated by our very own miss Audrey and there was a failed attempt to play lacrosse in the dark (totally a good idea at the time). Mickey pancakes were the order of the day for breakfast. The weather was gorgeous and the laughter contagious!! :-) Such a great weekend!!

looks like a fun weekend. hey, how do you do the collage pictures ? i forgot and have a ton from vacation that i wanted to add and thought the collage would be easier. thanks courtney

Trip to the Zoo

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
