Daddy & Ava day.....

I had to work on Monday, so Jim took the day off and spent it with Ava. They always have the best adventures together :-) This time they went to Point Defiance park exploring the flower gardens and venturing through the woods. They went to Dash Point beach and explored amidst the rocks and shells. They finished off their day of fun at, you guessed it, El Toro! :-) I was all kinds of jealous knowing that they were having such a blast while I was at work :-( I am so glad that they have so much fun together. Jim really is the best dad ever! Here are some pics from yesterday and a few from Sunday....

Trip to the Zoo

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
