Just Life....

..and all the fun things our life with little Miss Ava entails. Not much new around here, but sooo much fun coming our way:-) We are gearing up for quite a busy weekend with Ava's showcase on Saturday. We have dress rehearsal on Friday night and then the "big" production on Saturday. No worries, it will be fully documented from all sorts of angles from the "paparazzi";-) I know I am going to be such a mess watching my little sweetie on stage dancing to her own beat and rocking her forward roll:-) She is growing up to be such a confident sweet little girl, I get misty just thinking about it. At some point Toy Story 3 is going to happen (Ava loves TS2, so TS3 is an absolute must). Next Thursday is the big reveal of Servane Barrau's fall/winter line and you know what that means??? Ava's pics will be up on the website and Servane has even made the line's catalog into a storybook. Can you think of a better keepsake?:-) We are beyond excited!

In non-Ava news (yes, really) the official downstairs remodel has begun (cue applause)!!! Jim and Tom have started the demolition process and I couldn't be more excited :-) The final product is still a ways off, but at least the process has begun and the guys have been working hard to get the process moving:-) Below are some pics of the initial demo.

Anyway, that's the big stuff amongst tons of little super fun things we have been up to. Here is a sneak peek of Ava's dance costume , too. Our diva felt it was a bit too tight and found the sequins to be a bit too scratchy, so thanks to grandmas mad sewing skills, the costume is roomier and oh so soft;-) More pics to come after the showcase I promise!!
