Lobster and Lightning

Today we decided to do a little New England road trip. We started in New Hampshire, then made our way towards Maine...so far evading the huge storm they predicted would be passing through the area. The weather was actually pretty nice, high clouds and about 65 (yesterday it was 84 and sunny) We drove through York, and York Harbor, ending up at Cape Neddick, where there was a cool old lighthouse and most importantly a place to eat some fresh lobster.
After lunch, we fueled up with some coffee and headed towards Massachusetts, at this point we were not sure if we were going to Boston, or Gloucester...on the way we picked Boston. As we were about to cross back into New Hampshire some dark clouds appeared, and we got hit with massive amounts of rain and lightning all around. The traffic on the highway slowed to about 25 mph, and visibility was pretty bad. After about a 15 min, things got a bit better and the clouds broke up some. An hour later after getting into downtown Boston, the same thing happened...the storm followed us! We had to pull over and park, it was pouring so bad. After a few minutes, the worst was over and we ended up doing a self guided driving tour.
We had a fun day, and now we're back in Manchester NH hanging out in the room. Tomorrow our flight back home leaves at 6pm and we'll be back by about midnight.

Here are the pictures so far...
