Mini Winter Wonderland....

We have snow!! Yes, it waited till after dark to start and yes, it is supposed to melt before we wake up, but for now it is amazing and we are taking full advantage of it! Despite Jim's effort to explain the scientific reasons as to what makes snow, Ava has decided the only logical reason is that snow is magical:-) I for one have no intentions of trying to argue her logic. If you ask me, snow and all that is does and all of the child like excitement I feel when I am it, is pretty darn magical;-) More pics are on the pic sight...

Trip to the Zoo

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
