Sweetness...

Not much new to report. Just gearing up for a minor surgery for me in two weeks and then Houston for Ava'smodeling shoot the week after that. Other than that life stays busy and quite entertaining courtesy of Miss Ava;-) As soon as Ava realized it was the weekend and neither Jim or I had to work, she planned the day's events accordingly. It began with a haircut, next came Steamers for lunch followed by a sunny/freezing stroll at the beach. She loves when we are all together as a family, and I have to say it doesn't get much better than that. We are actually going out for a date night tonight, which we are really excited about. Thanks Tia Mo for watching our little chica tonight! You are the best:-)

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
