Confidence...

I have always been aware and aimed to encourage Ava to have confidence. She has been dealt quite a hand for such a young little girl. While I am sure many believe she lives a charmed life now, receiving 110% of our love and attention and being given nearly anything her little heart desires. To be clear, being spoiled does not mean for a second that she is allowed to be bratty or entitled in any way, but I digress. Confidence is something that we have tried to inculcate in Ava so that as she grows up and struggles with some of the realities of life, she can know that she is special, brilliant, talented and just plain amazing. One of the ways Ava has chosen to demonstrate her confidence is to serenade the kids in the neighborhood, whom she has never met, from our upstairs window;-) She has chosen a variety of songs that include, but are not limited to: youtube Disney shows, eye of the tiger and the musical score of Tangled. She is too much! Not exactly what I was going for in the confidence department, but too cute not to share:-)
