Date Night...



We had an Ava free night, thanks to a fun sleep-over at Tia Mo's with her cousins...so we took the opportunity to go see a movie and have a good dinner. The Gig Harbor cinemas has a cool VIP theater, with a bar ;-) ... you can order beer & wine and have food brought to your seats by a waiter. It was a fun night... & yes, Jim milked a cow in the parking lot !?!?

Trip to the Zoo

Today was Ava's first visit to the Zoo. She loved it! A lot of arm waiving and leg kicking. Not a ton of smiles, because she was probably overwhelmed. We could tell she really enjoyed it though, we can only imagine what goes through the mind of a ten month old baby when a 2000 lb walrus swims by 10 inches from her face. Click here for pics. 2 yrs ago we were doing this....

Two years have flown by, but the feelings of contentment and amazement just grow stronger and stronger. We are off to Seabrook for the weekend to play in the sand and and reminisce. We are truly, truly blessed! Not much has changed in the packing department :-)
