Summer Photo Shoot....

Not sure if we still have any readers out there, but if we do, we wanted to share some Summer pics we had done of our little sweetie.  Miss Mandi did it again and showed Ava in all of her sweetness, sassiness, goofiness and gorgeousness.  I absolutely adore how these turned out;)  Here is a link to Mandi's blog post about our shoot this past weekend:  http://mandimcdougallphotography.com/?p=6526

Tumbling and playa-latte...

Image
It has been a fun couple of days. Yesterday was tumbling day. They are starting to work on a "routine" for a recital in June. It is soo funny! They work on there steps and moves, and all seems to be ok, then the teacher turns on the music and all havoc breaks loose! They have a bunch of toddlers in there own world hopping around and running everywhere! Total chaos. It is totally priceless :-) Ava loves it so much and I love watching her get so excited. Super cute! The rain boots have yet to see a drop of rain. They have pretty much become glorified house shoes. Ava wears them with everything! Today we went to a cool place called "Playa-latte". Image
This amazing miracle entered our life. She was just three days old when we first set eyes on our little sweetie. She has been our joy and blessing ever since. I am so grateful to be Ava's mommy! She brightens the day and warms the heart of every one she come in contact with. Watching her grow, learn and become such a beautiful little girl is a privilege and a gift I will cherish forever. We love you soo much our sweet little Ava!

After years of yearning and months of waiting for new pics, updates and final approval we were going to have our daughter home with us forever. It was then that the true sense of being a mother took hold. Since then I have tried to take in every moment. Embracing the ups the downs and all of the greatness in between. Ava has brought us so much joy! She has filled our hearts and completed our family in a truly amazing way. I dreamt and imagined what it would be like to be a mother for so long, but the crazy thing is, the reality is better than even my vivid imagination could conjure up. It is real and is amazing! The best part? This amazing journey is just beginning. I feel so blessed...
